Where does offer information come from?
Kaunsa Card? brings together offer listings from bank and card programme sources, imported public pages, and administrator corrections. Coverage differs by bank, city and merchant. A listed offer is information from a source, not a bank partnership or a confirmed successful payment.
Merchant pages show a source link for a highlighted listing when a usable public URL is available. Some imported or manually corrected records do not have an individual public link. You can report a correction if a listing is wrong or incomplete.
How is an estimated saving calculated?
For a percentage offer, we multiply the eligible bill amount by the listed rate. If the exact card has a stated maximum discount, the estimate is limited to that cap. For example, 30% of Rs 6,000 is Rs 1,800, but a Rs 1,000 cap makes the estimated saving Rs 1,000.
We also use available dates, valid days, minimum spend, selected branch and order mode where the comparison supports them. A higher percentage can save fewer rupees once a cap applies. Buy-one-get-one offers have no reliable rupee estimate without knowing the items ordered.
What do “unknown” and “up to” mean?
An unstated cap is unknown, not unlimited. If the source gives several possible caps and the exact one cannot be matched confidently, the app may use a conservative lower cap and label the result approximate. An “up to” rate is also approximate. Missing branch, day, exclusion or transaction-limit details should be checked with the bank or merchant.
How current are the offers?
A displayed “last seen” date means the offer was observed in the source data on that date. It does not mean someone redeemed it in person. Sources may change between checks, and some offers can end without a published expiry date. We remove known expired offers from current comparison and use the latest available published catalogue, but no listing is a guarantee that a cashier will honour it.
What should I check before paying?
Confirm the exact card product and tier, participating branch, valid day and time, bill minimum, cap, order type, exclusions and transaction limits. Ask the merchant or bank if a term is unclear. Tax, service charges and cashback timing can change the final value. Kaunsa Card? does not issue cards, process payments or advise you to apply for a financial product.
